The first bloke I called in tried to surprise me with a £75 quote

If good quality parts as well, then not excessive.

I politely told him to F* OFF and got in another Certified Electrician who did it for half that amount, in one hour and a half (inc a complementary tea and biscuit break, lol, on the house, of course)

he's lucky I didn't pick him up and throw him out, Seventy Who ? he's avin a laugh.

like I said,

I paid a professional HALF that amount to do a great job.

he'll be back in for this job too,

.........as long as he gives me a sensible quote.
