The floor tiles seem to be wooden parquet squares (1ft sq containing 9 smaller squares). They were originally bonded down with a black tar like substance - onto the marley tile above concrete. The adhesive is still on the back of the wood. How should I bond back down a small area (2M square). Thanks.

Remove the bitumen (black tar) as best as possible from blocks and floor. Use normal parquet adhesive and allow for a longer bonding time because of any bitumen residue
