Some pointing has fallen out when we first moved in and we’ve patched it for the time being. Boiler condensate pipe was running around the house and you can see it’s running up hill in this part and has been dripping here and has subsequently ******ed the pointing.

Dpc is below the red line in the picture, the dpc is covered around the whole house with pointing originally so I’ve done the same here. Just checking is it okay to point over this? Presume it is by the small amount it’s covering.

House is pointing with cement and it is pointed over Dpc around the house. Not deep just seems to be shallowly over it. We’ve not got any damp issues.

Mortar is only darker due to fresh pointing

Ignore the mammoth sized spider

Do you have to have the condensate pipe on the outside and if so it should be 32mm and lagged.
A bit if pointing over dpc won't hurt.

Condensate pipes been removed and run internally with a 32mm pipe, one in this picture ran up hill and it was leaking at that elbow I think hence causing the buggered pointing
