I recently installed some french doors and had to have the kitchen worktop cut in half.

the work top has now dropped half an inch and is slightly loose. it doesn't seem like it is fixed to any other than resting between the cupboard top and the wall tiles.

should i put a bracket on the underside of the worktop to the wall, on the inside of the cupboard beneath?

not really sure how these things are attached in the first place.

any help much appreciated :)

Should be brackets under cup units at rear and screwed thru timber at front.

I have one small L shaped bracket left at back - between the cupboard side and the worktop. So is it just a case of replacing these for the front and back of the cupboard side wall?
