I have a few SDS plus 14mm - 24mm all lost their new edge. Quite expensive to replace for occasional DIY, possible to resharpen? How? Thanks.

you could try sharpening with a grinder, but i doubt itll help much. bets either live with it or get new ones.

Thanks, Andy, pretty much what I thought. Just didn't want to admit it! Have never tried carbide tips on a grinder.

Why can't you take them to any place that sharpens carbide masonary bits and pay to have them sharpened.

I live in a hayseed town like Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and I can have SDS drill bits sharpened inexpensively locally.
