Greetings,

I have no desire to become an electrician, nor do I plan in installing any circuits in my home - so this is purely academic; could anyone suggest a book on how electricity works? A ground-up explanation of what electricity carries on a live, what is 'exhausted' and remains in the neutral, how phases work, et cetera.

Regs and trade books probably aren't appropriate, but I figure the professionals around might have come across something along those lines.
