Rebedding ridge tiles

Would just going over ridge tiles after removing loose pointing, and then pva last? some ridge tiles are solid, just a bit of loose pointing

Yes it will last ...... one winter.

If you do it now it will last a year so will be better value. But the longer you leave it the fewer months it will last before it fall out next April

Even better value would be to rebed them properly and that should give you about 30 years
 
So if very hard to shift, leave, and the ones that might work loose remove,

Whats the problem with morter not sticking, frost wind etc? does pva help?


Rergarding re bedding build up at the edges, and along the edges, not the middle of the ridge tile

Solid bedded ridge have a tendency to crack and split over time or even lift off... Most manufacturers will confirm this in their info.. (also takes a s**t load of much too)
