rebel 8 panel and novagard ga bell box

Replaced an old optima with da rebel 8( brand new had it some time) also fitted gardtec novagard ga bell box.

After wiring up, the sounder siren will not activate, however the internal sounder operates when compromised and the strobe flashes.

Any ideas

external sounder battery no connected or flat?
