Totally, 865 seem to hold their colour much better than 840's too.
An 865 will stay nice and white for a long time, 840 starts off an OK colour, and then with some burn in goes really orange

You can get plates to cover the holes and then fit GU10's - but think these only go up to 120mm

I have in the past fitted bigger ones, but can't remember who made them - I had to order online
