I am unable to fit a water softener in my property without major hassle.
I have spoke to a local reputable plumber who advised that the de-scaler option can work for some people although he wasn't able to really comment on their effectiveness.
Apparently British Gas supply and fit a Hydroflow HS38 which can have good results.
Can anyone recommend a proven descaler? I am ideally looking for something that clamps on to an existing pipe.
