Your posts are boring, you are so keen to try and prove you know what you are doing. This suggests to me that really you do not have a clue!!!


Let me give you an example. An easy one for a person with your talents.

2 12k thermisters fitted to a Combi boiler, you have dhw problems. i.e. water not getting hot, you have checked the plate heat exchanger, you have checked the diverter valve is not letting by. You have even managed to check the gas pressure is correct.

The central heating works perfectly, it is just the hot water. How are you going to check the thermister is working correctly?

(A clue, your cheap and nasty analyser probably won't help you)

and another thing why would i check the plate heat ex and diverter valve before a thermistor, thats the first thing i would check. and flow switch

Then put him out of business bob, charge 95 per check, get some new qualified engineers to do the checks for you and wash your sports car in your big country house with your indoor swimming pool...that is our economic model. Without the more professional providers offering services at a high price you would not be able to operate at your price at a lower rate and they would force you out of business. Bg are often slagged off for high installation costs, however if they reduced that to 1000.00 say they would clean up and have everyone working for them for nothing.....so chill out.
