Don't think so they are only guaranteed for 30. And a lot seem to need replacing around that age.
IMO all concrete tiles are a poor substitute for clay, but concrete does seem to be the modern trend for housing estates and other lower quality housing. I suppose it is all down to that bottom line of costs. A big problem with concrete tiles is their colouring and what they look they will look like in say another 30 or so years of relentless sun exposure.
