Because of how the WTO works:

The WTO requires member countries to apply tariffs (taxes) on goods and services to other WTO countries equally. It also means you can’t set different rules for foreign and domestic products in your country. The big exception is if countries have negotiated their own customs union or free trade area

I agree with the problems with CAP that clearly protects French agriculture.
But on balance, the benefits of EU membership outweigh that -certainly compared to the cost of losing 759 trade agreements.

    Thats fine. Enjoy :ROFLMAO:

You can either decide to accept now that no deal is a fantasy, or you can suffer the disappointment when you find out no deal will only result in us going to Brussels to negotiate a deal.

I expect you will become more angry and blame the EU for refusing to negotiate a deal.

Boris has started......Brexiteers are already bursting blood vessels over it ......yup Boris knows how to manipulate his voters

Rare earth elements, or we can go without electronics, do we produce enough gas and oil?

We have a uranium mine I think but do we have the skills and tech to mine.

There are levels of self sufficiency but to self produce all our goods and devices at current levels. Pipe dream.

    But you know this already.

June 2016 you got to be kidding me.

Fact is we need bilateral deals, WTO doesnt cover aviation regs.

    Just deny reality.

We trade with the world under 759 trade agreements.

No deal = no trade agreements.

you have just argued against yourself.
