remove dry wallpaper paste

whats the quickest way of getting dry wallpaper paste off after i'v stripped,its a large room,matt paint underneath,and i am re-painting once paper is off,so the most effective way for a good clean surface.

give it a couple of good washes with water and fairy liquid (other detergents are availiable) and change the water as you do it. Bit messy but it works

Use Sugar Soap to clean the walls. It'll help prepare the walls for painting.
