We had this installed in 2012 after a full house rewire and having just had a house extension, it’s too small now (just 1 door sensor and 2 motions).
While plastering, someone’s moved a sensor and blown the F2 fuse in panel so the sensors are dead. I’m just thinking of removing the whole thing and replacing with Ring or something:
What’s the easiest way of removing the whole thing including bell box? Only problem is that the bell box is on the wall outside but I haven’t got a ladder big enough and there’s now a porch in the way of it. The cable does come through the wall into the front bedroom so that’s accessible.
If I just remove all power and disconnect it (leave the bell box on the wall) how long before the battery in the box kicks in and how long before it dies?
Any help would be much appreciated.
