Removing a One-Way pull switch

I removed a bedroom light pull switch which would only work if the wall light switch was turned on.
The wiring is simple one cable with black and red wires and another cable with single red wire.
I'm presuming I need to reconnect two wires? to complete the circuit for the wall light switch to work again?
Can you advise please?
