We may be about to buy a house with artexed or textured ceilings throughout.
There is bags of ceiling height so part of me says that boarding it all over then skimming it might be the best way forward but I have never tried to remove artex so don't know how hard it is. I am also unsure just how good the ceilings are behind the ceilings - in my head artex was so often used to hide a poor ceiling, especially when the artex is so poorly done...
Any ideas ?
PS - Hello all - my first post on here - better introduce myself.
I am Steve, I have worked on the edge of the building trade doing odd jobs for years but spent the last 15 years living in Spain so am way out of date with what is available and what is good !
