I have three decorative tiles in my backsplash. I would like to remove them because I am putting a mural in another place. Is it possible to remove individual tiles with out damaging the ones next to them? they are 4x4 ceramic. Thanks

Temptation would be to start from one edge,(you may then damage adjacent tiles) try this:

hit one with something heavy and blunt so it breaks, then remove it from the centre outwards, when one tile is gone you can then easily get to the other two tiles, without damaging the surrounding ones.

If you don't want to bludgeon the tile ;) you could try drilling a hole in the middle of it and levering the edges of the hole with a screwdriver so it cracks the tile, them just remove the segments.

For what purpose Sanjay? Surely the grout will come out when you remove the tile anyway. If you remove the tile from the centre outwards, you won't damage the surrounding tiles whether the grout has been removed or not.
