We lifted some very nasty carpet tiles in our porch to discover terracotta tiles underneath. Unfortunately the carpet tiles were laid using adhesive which has dried to a whitish colour. I've tried a bespoke tile cleaner from our local Homebase, paint stripper and even sanding a small area but to no avail. The adhesive seems to be well absorbed into the tile surface. I'd appreciate any suggestions! Thanks[/b]
