Removing stubborn tile adhesive marks

Hi
Has anyone any tips for removing very stubborn old floor tlie adhesive stains.
We have wooden plinths that have had floor tile adhesive on them in small areas and I would like to revamp the wood.

How long has the adhesive been on ?

you could try using water with a fairly rough scourer, that should take it off

try a blunt scraper to tale the thick off, then a scourer with plenty water, its just a case of trying to keep the adhesive wet

Depending on your tiles, you might be able to use a Wallpaper stripper (scalpel type) tool, its like a giant razor, but test it on a bit of hidden tiling to ensure that it doesn't scratch the tiles. Worked fine on mine.
