I assume that this is the side passageway of a terrace at the rear?
And there will be a window above?
As suggested, use a rope from above to hold the weight.
I would acquire a big cardboard box (as a source of sheet material) that I could slide behind the bars to protect the glass
I’d cut the flat bar just where the vertical round bar goes through it. That way you will have an L shaped tang still in the wall.
You can drill it to accept a tool to help remove it/ bang it side to side /use the angle grinder more precisely ,
I would use a bit of scrap ply to protect the wall.
Watch out for the fact that if the angle grinder hits it, it will shoot off.
Cutting flush is probably fine, or tidy it up and leave it for new bars at some time.
You’d get a cheap angle grinder in aldi/lidl
