Hi,

My garage has a single 8ft 100w T8 tube which has packed up.

I want to replace it with a couple of 5ft 58w T8s - one at the north end, one at the south. FYI - the garage has a 2-way switch (one at either end).

Will the two new, separate units wire in sequence?

Advice gratefully accepted.

Cheers

You've got the only one ever made then! :D :D

8ft tubes have only ever been produced as T12's.....

For the record.... the T number is the diameter of the tube in 1/8" increments .... so T8 = 1" & T12 = 1.5" with the newer T5 being 5/8"

No wonder my googling was unsuccessful.

Great - thanks for putting me straight. :)
