Hi all
As above I need to replace a glass panel in an internal wooden door . Trouble is it looks like the glass is integral in the door and seemingly there’s no moulding that’s nailed in to hold the glass in place .it looks more like the glass was put in before the top of side panel of the doors were put in. Presumably there’s a way to get this glass out ?

One side of the door will have trims holding the glass.
The seems are filled with paint, so not visible.
You could break the glass and then find which side the trim is.
Then is a simple matter of cutting the paint with a stanley knife and remove, ready for new glass.

Door sections are never built around the glass unless its a hollow eggbox moulded door, timber doors will have a glazing bead on one side without doubt, maybe years worth of paint hiding the joints but defo be there, remember also doors need to have safety glass in them, toughened of laminated
