There are five junction boxes (5A & 30A) under my bathroom floor, installed when the consumer unit was relocated in 1991. The floor is currently up for the first time since then and I wonder if should I change the screwed terminal JBs for maintenance free ones or do nothing on the basis of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". I realise there is no need to do anything as the regs are not retrospective.

If you do anything, why not replace the cables so that there are only joints where they need to be? IE sockets and light fittings.
