Replaced the Peak CU at my Dad's

I'm not having a go at you Mr Balson but i have been scratching my head as to why you call one of the consumer units a "Peak" board?

The consumer unit that serves the storage radiators could be described as the "off peak" board. So that's fine.

But the other operates 24 hours a day, not just at "peak" tariff times.
I mean, it doesn't switch off at off peak times. I just don't see the point of labelling it, at all.
