Replacement boiler ad.

I've just seen an ad on TV, where the advertiser wants their prospective customer, to go online, do their own assessment of which boiler they need, the company will then arrive with the boiler and install it. What happened to the requirements to do a proper heat loss calc. etc. ?

They have you fill in a survey, about the type of boiler you want, check the instal is straight forward, the only questions relevant to heat loss, are type of property detached, semi etc., followed by how many bedrooms - finally, they prompt you to pick a boiler from a list. In my case, a 24Kw. I actually have an 18Kw, which is more output than actually needed.

They then claim to be able to have the new boiler in, within 48 hours.
