Think our bolier is on the way out, have noticed recently that there is a small drip of water from one of the pipes every so often. A friend who is a plumber came and looked at it at the beginning of the year and fixed another problem, but now have this. Unfortunately he is away at the minute. How easy is it to replace a boiler??

Its easy if you are CORGI registered, experienced and not very busy!

It's old. When our friend had to fix a problem at the beginning of the year, he mentioned it was getting on it's last legs. Was hoping that it may last this winter and then replace it some time next year, but it then started making a weird noise when we turn on the heating for the first time the other night. Not tried since, but hoping that it was making that noise as the heating has not been on for months. Think I'm going to have to make a few phone calls this weekend, inbetween watching the football.
