Hi All,
After reading many related posts and getting some useful pointers, could you please help with a question...
I have a Boilermate2000 (from a Wimpey new build in 2003) and the hot water pump seems to be giving up the ghost. Sometimes I get nice hot water ok, but most of the time now it just runs stone cold. Giving the pump the occaisional tap or flicking the speed setting back and forth worked for a while but recently I've only been saved by swithing to the "emergency hot water" setting on the Boilermate, but I think I'm stretching my luck.
The pump is a Grundfos 15-50 X18, P/N 59525452, IP44, 230V, 50hz, 2uf, Class H, Max 10bar, 1.5" connections. The Boilermate manual says it's part number XB001.
I've measured the end to end length (allowing for a few mm thread going into the valve nut) and it's exactly 130mm.
The question is please, can I replace this pump with any of these:
Grundfos 15-50 Selectric 130 or
Grundfos 15-50 Alpha 2 130 or
any Grundfos 15-50 130 pump?
Thank you very much indeed, much appreciated guys (and girls if any!)
Jeff
