My old Optima control panel works but the battery is dead after only a few years. The fly leads are reading around 30v which is incorrect for a 12v battery!

My question is what would be a good diy replacement which would be swapped in place easily?

Something like a a Pyronix Euro Mini prox?

It would be nice to be able
To use proximity tabs.

Thanks

Texecom veritas is the simplest replacement
Pyronix Euro mini a better panel
You will get plenty of help on this forum with replacing either
Good luck !!!

Thank you sparkymarka. Is the standard one the Veritas 8? I notice this one is a grade 1 alarm. Would it be better to go for a grade 2? I think the Euro mini is a grade 2

Security equipment is graded for insurance purposes.
Grade 1 tends not to be accepted by insurance companies, but being a dig system will not apply.
Veriras 8 or veritas 8R .one has on-board keypad and 8R is remote keypad version.
Euro mini is grade 2
