Complete DIY novice here. I am trying to replace a 3 gang switch and am looking for a bit of advice. This switch is at the bottom of the stairs. The first gang is 2 way and operates the upstairs light along with another switch at the top of the stairs. The other two gangs are 1 way and operate the downstairs and porch lights.

I have drawn the current configuration of the switch and the new switch I would like to replace it with: -

Some photo's of the existing switch are below

The new switch is here: -

I have added a diagram with the wiring of the old switch below. I think the middle gang is inverted, so is it as simple as wiring the new switch as I show in the diagram below with the gang inverted? Or am I missing something?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

usually the numbering comparison is:

1 = com
2 = LI (1 way)
3 = L2

You currently have 1 & 2 in use so my assumption is com & L1 (1 way)
1 way is usually down for on (in at the bottom)

u will want to use the 1 way terminals for downstairs & outside lights

What switch brand is that new sw?

A can't quite read what this says:

OK I think that makes sense, so in the middle and right hand gang, the switched live and live are in L1 because they are both 1 way switches?

Yes

And thanks to al the others posts confirming the layout, however the terminal above the yellow ring is '1 way' and its 'common' is the bottom, not that it makes any difference to the functionality.
