Complete DIY novice here. I am trying to replace a 3 gang switch and am looking for a bit of advice. This switch is at the bottom of the stairs. The first gang is 2 way and operates the upstairs light along with another switch at the top of the stairs. The other two gangs are 1 way and operate the downstairs and porch lights.
I have drawn the current configuration of the switch and the new switch I would like to replace it with: -
Some photo's of the existing switch are below
The new switch is here: -
I have added a diagram with the wiring of the old switch below. I think the middle gang is inverted, so is it as simple as wiring the new switch as I show in the diagram below with the gang inverted? Or am I missing something?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
