Replacing a couple of old fashioned roof tiles after some bugger threw a stone and smashed them

Last Sunday night, I noticed a damp patch in the extension bedroom. Today I got up there with a ladder and found a large hole with a rounded stone in it (see pics). The stone was a decent weight, being around 400g. There was some felt underneath, but it looks like this is damaged as well.

How can I fix this long term? I've tried calling a roofer, but they're at least a few weeks away.

In the short term I've done a patch up job...

Pics below

Broken tiles, my quick patching up job and the stone thrown that caused the damage (I found it on the tile)

Done properly, your DPC patch will last many, many years. I can vouch for that. :sneaky:

You could also glue the piece back in with a quality polymer mastic adhesive for aesthetics.
