We've got a Vaillant 828E combi with a 110 24hr timer. I would like to upgrade to a 7 day timer. It looks like I might be able to plug in a 120 7 day timer. Is it as easy as that? Is that the best/right replacement? Anything to be wary of?
I've swapped a couple of ford engines. Funnily enough the bolt patterns and engine mounts are fairly common and its not that tricky. Even swapped a petrol engine for a diesel once. Happy to help with your swap if you like. I presume you don't know the answer to my question

this can be done as i have had it done
you must folow the instructions in the installation manual as the timer will have to be put on a wall remotelly and the 7 day timer will aso have to have a temp control on it ( be carful and folow the warnings as there is a chance of blowing all the eletrics when fitting. ( happed ))
refer to page 29 and 30 of instructions for installation and servicing of vaillant and the notes on the unit you have chosen ( i have a drayton unit )
