Looks like I'm going to be replacing the carpet tiles in 2 rooms with new ones. The floor is concrete slab. I've replaced the odd worn/stained tile before but never a whole room's worth so I'm looking for a few pointers please....
The existing carpet tiles aren't stuck down so I'm not intending to stick the new ones down either - is this correct?
What's the best way to replace the existing tiles?
Individually IE lift one old tile and fit a new one in it's place
In rows/columns IE lift a whole row or column and fit news tiles in that row of column
Is it better to do a short row/column or a long column/row - one room is square the other is a hallway (long & narrow)
In sections IE lift 4 (2x2) or 6 (3x2) then fit 4/6 new tiles
Any other tips - I know about overlaying a whole tile to cut a partial one.
