Hey folks, another job for a relative here. Their cat flap has failed, they got it installed by a glazing company. If they got exactly the same model, would it be at all DIYable to replace it?

Any ideas how one would go about it?

Cheers

Double glazed glass unit with hole in for cat flap? Yes. It's just clamped with screws I've replaced mine twice. Just remove cat flap and check new one will be same size. I just bought the same one again

Thanks Wayners, yes it's double glazed unit. I found the screws, there's a bit of silicone/mastic so looks a lot more doable now. Cheers mate.

I got a massive square cut in ours for a dog flap - the glazed unit cost more than New set of French doors
