May be worth checking the fuse rating in the FCU it may still have a 13 amp fuse in it from when it was purchased
I would look at a grid arrangement with a fuse module and dimmer module side by side. You then don't have to worry about hacking in a new accessory box next to your existing one. Take the dimmer you bought back to the shop.
