Hi
I'm purchasing a house that has a very old oil boiler which I'm looking to replace.
I've noticed the placement of the oil tank doesn't meet current regulations.
If I change the boiler can the job be signed off or will the tank have to be moved too to comply?

Thanks

No, there's no requirement to move the tank although you will be given a warning notice advising of any deficiencies
