Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie to the forum, and need some much needed advice.

We will need to replace our oil tank, which is currently a single skin, and will need to be a bunded tank, our main problem could be the position of the tank, as at the moment, the old one currently is located near our neighbours tank which is bunded. There is just a fence separating the two. Just wonder if two bunded tanks can go near to each other, as thinking about fire risk (which was not taken into consideration 10 years ago). Not long moved into the property, but there are signs that the oil tank will need to be replaced.

The current oil tank does stand on a plinth, which has raised.

Our other issue is that we back onto agricultural land, which if we need to place the tank away from our neighbours, our boundary is about 4m from agricultural land.

Please help, we are wondering if we will need to look for alternative heating! If the oil tank can't go where the current is.

Many Thanks In Advance :)
