Hi all, Mrs fancied a new tap; a Bristan Cinnamon Mono Mixer Kitchen Tap Chrome to be precise.

https://www.screwfix.com/p/bristan-cinnamon-mono-mixer-kitchen-tap-chrome/6959d

However, it comes with flexible connector tails, whereas the connectors under our sink are currently copper pipe into speedfit (or cheapo equiv), see pictures;

Is there a simple way of connecting the tap? Note the washing machine connectors etc.

I had considered something like http://www.johnguest.com/speedfit/product/15-22mm-braided-hoses/monobloc-mixer/ which (I think) fits the taps, but not sure about the connectors to the pipes

THanks.

Remove the existing copper tails from the white plastic ,push fit "T" fitting ,you can then fit a short piece of 15mm copper tube into each T ,and then fit a 15 mm isolation valve onto the copper tubes. Your flexi tap tails that Came with your new tap will screw onto the isolation valves. Full bore isolation valves are better if your hot water is from a gravity fed system ,if its from a combi boiler any type will be OK. Like screwfix code 32802

Bristan Cinnamon Mono Mixer Kitchen Tap

google ' problems with bristan easyfit taps '

Consider getting that tap installed by a qualified plumber but before calling in a plumber check the tap is suitable for your hot & cold installation,if the hot & cold are from the mains water supply then your Ok.

seen a few wobbly bristan taps,just about watertight :!:
