Pricing a powerflush is as variable as pricing a house, only less of it.
If there was such a thing as a "averagely clogged up" system in an "average house", I would charge about £300 - £350.
Giving a lifelong guarantee on a powerflush is as useful as a lifelong guarantee on a boiler; you can only do that if you include more terms and conditions in the contract than you can throw a stick at.

But provided I would have the boiler/system under service, without anyone else meddling with it, I would be happy to guarantee it as long as that.
Not as big a trick as it seems. If you flush the lot properly, it withstands a 10 bar test, and you make sure the inhibitor gets kept at sufficient levels, you won't have corrosion causing trouble.

so you will charge more than that then?

what t+c's are we talking about? the only two that are actually related to a powerflush or some others that you would like to make up?

list the only two t+c's that BG have on the lifetime guarantee for a powerflush carried out by them or their contractors.

so you do guarantee all of your flushes then?

remind me of your charge for a powerflush again?

you do of course give a lifetime guarantee on the flush if it ever needs doing again with the proviso that the customer makes reasonable efforts to inhibit the system regularly.

I love lifetime guaruntees.

Just keep reading my post until you understand it.

thats a bit like Viessman`s 24hr 365 helpline which when you phone it says

"our opening hours are mon-friday 9-5........" :(

had to leave a customer without heat/hw over the weekend because of a duff pcb straight out the box.....

And there shows your lack of engineering back ground if you knew what you where talking about and went back over answers given regards faults nickso is head and shoulders above those he has argued with on this topic
