Reposition central heating pipes

Ignoring wire world on the photo just for a second , I have a question about the best method to get these central heating pipes moved into (or as close to) the corner as possible, so that I can box them in neatly into the corner and along the ceiling.

It's in 22mm copper, so my first thought was to just stay with copper, cut just after where the bends are coming out of the floor and divert them straight up, along to connect where they're teeing off the main pipes above. It's a messy bend where they go into the ceiling but I don't massively want to tidy that up, so hopefully will box it all in.

Then I started thinking about Hep20 and whether that'd just be easier and more flexible to link the top and bottom and getting it neatly into the corner?

If I do this myself (not 100% sure I will yet) whilst the system is drained I can also replace some 35 year old rads which will be handy.

Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated as always!

Leave piping where it is and put in a false wall. You lose 3" of floor area but save yourself a lot of hassle.

Well I hadn't thought of that as an approach...I guess it's one way of solving this

and you can of course build a series of shallow cupboards or shelves into the false wall, so the space isn't entirely lost (somewhere for the BT hub to sit)
