retiling kitchen

I want to replace 6 year old ceramic tiles over 1978 original vinyl tiles over 1978 concrete in a kitchen then re-tile whole floor before fitting a new kitchen. The floor is bare concrete where the original cabinets were. I plan on hiring a floor tile remover.

What should I do to prepare for new ceramic tiles?

as you say lift the whole lot..
prep floor..
any damage, prime floor with acrylic primer or sbr follow m.i.for mix ratio,then use a (bagged) rapid set adhesive to infill any damage,leave to set.
then again
prime floor up the room,let it dry then prime across room.(2 coats)full coverage.
then tile away...easy really...
