Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help. I have this plate:

https://www.screwfix.com/p/varilight-xdqpg1-1-gang-powergrid-faceplate-white/46446

But the holes don’t line up with a standard meta back box:

They sell this adapter which still doesn’t line up:

https://www.screwfix.com/p/varilight-z3pgrid1-1-gang-powergrid-gridplate/85638

This is the switch I want to use:

https://www.screwfix.com/p/varilight-z2dg102sw-10a-2-way-switch-white/29488

But If I can get a complete unit that will be fine too.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

It's not an adaptor as such. It is part of the grid system which includes the switch you have linked.
It just so happens you have come across a single one. There are doubles - and more for the two-gang boxes.

Why do you not use a normal switch which will fit the back-box?
What is it you want to switch?

It’s for a electric door for opening up and closing down. Thought this would be the best solution? If not, please advise...
