the socket you show is described as "wood medium oak finish"

I expect it is an ordinary accessory made of fire retardant thermplastic with veneer applied to the outside.

If you like that sort of thing perhaps you could get a vinyl film, or sheet of veneer, to wrap an ordinary thermplastic backbox

If it is made of solid wood, I can't see how.

It would look much better with a flush recessed backbox, than a surface mounted one.

When I lived in a house with old lightswitches, they were round ones, and mounted on a turned hardwood backplate.

I just had a look through the spec within the links and it states: "This product is manufactured from sustainable hardwood".
 
yes, I saw that and revised my reply.

The idea of an electrical accessory made of flammable materials is alien to me.

They are wooden clad much the same as metal clad sockets are clad in metal. All the internals are fire retardent as normal. I have fitted these for a customer and don’t personally have any issue with them.
