Riello burner lockout.

Burner generally works but locks out at random times on restart when hot and cold. When locked out it sometimes restarts after pressing burner reset button, but not always. When locked out the motor/fan doesn’t even start to spin before burner locks out again. It seems that gently tapping the burner body works but this may be a coincidence. I assume a motor issue, but it runs smoothly and quiet when in operation. Any ideas what might be causing this?
