Can I run Ring Circuit Cables under the ground floor floorboards along the concrete, or do they have to be support some how?

you should try and keep them off the concrete base if possible to prevent damage from water in the event of damp or a leak, and also to prevent damage by fauna (mice etc) (reg 522-11-01)

No, the blue book is OOD.

Sorry, out of date.

The current edition is brown, and newsagents don't sell them (unless it's someone like WHSmugs.

A spark from Yorkshire who can afford more than one up to date regs book?

You're getting paid too much, matey!

Have you never booked stuff on the works account?

"book it as cable mate"

Did they not teach you this on the 10 week course on how to rewire a house.
