Saw him perform in the noughties?, after he'd been coaxed back into touring by some ex roadie, it was High Wycombe or a similar low key cheap venue, he was a shell of a man and quite sad to watch, almost as though he was being forced to play for someone else's benefit. As a Peter Green fan, I walked away with a bad taste in my mouth.
No disrespect to the theatre at High Wycombe referring to it as low key, saw Ray Davies do his one man (two really) show there, ten quid a ticket and two quid for parking, best concert I've ever been to. Sadly I missed out on seeing the bloke from Hot Chocolate, Errol Brown perform there, I'd have gladly paid a tenner to see him.
