The maximum compensation he can get (having spent over 10 years) is £1m.
As much as I think he should get the full amount I doubt he will.

Knowing our goverment departments I'm sure they will drag it out for years in the hope he dies before he gets anything

No they will not, not since 2023 - this was stopped when a previous bloke who had served 17 years was released and caused an uproar.

Serious concerns regarding his conviction were known about over 10yrs ago.
I think they were waiting for those responsible for the fit up to die before making a move.
