I liked him (well I didn't really as I didn't know him personally - herein lies the issue), he was funny. I just cannot and will not accept that people kill themselves if they have children. Yes, he was depressed but its no excuse IMO.

Why are you showing respect and sympathy to someone you have never met personally, who you know nothing about, that is exactly the idolising culture of celebrity you are participating in.

I am in agreement with you to a point, I think suicide is a selfish act, especially to those that love you and even more so the poor bugger that finds the body, but those that do commit suicide are probably not thinking that way at the time.
