Just a quick one for Ollski...the gas supply to the fire is delivered first to thr pilot & then to the burner, it can`t be affected by flue/ or air changes until after ignition.

It was a serious enquiry injected with a little humour, I apologise for that,back to the subject...have you fitted one? or don`t you know? a simple `I don`t know` would suffice...I am asking a genuine question, because frankly I am a bit miffed.....not came across it on a brand new fire... BTW I`ve been here longer than you
